Giving you the relevant information, knowledge and skills required to approach birthing in a positive, prepared and confident manner. This enables you to understand your own sense of self-worth and thus gives you the ability to make informed choices and be in control of your own birthing experience.

There is also an opportunity to meet other like-minded people and share the joy of this wonderful, special life experience.

What to bring to your session:

- Exercise mat or towel/blanket/sleeping bag
- 2 bed pillows
- Drink of water
- Wear loose comfortable clothes  
 
Prepare together:
I will take you through the whole birth process and teach you Breathing techniques, various Postures for active birthing, Visualisations, Relaxation and Meditation techniques (enables a positive mind set to be maintained) as well as massage techniques.  Preparing together will enable you both to have the optimum ‘Birthing Experience.’

Yoga for Pregnancy and Childbirth

More and more women are becoming aware of the benefits of yoga exercises during pregnancy and in preparation for childbirth.  

The key to positive birthing is learning how to use the breath effectively, learning to relax and maintaining a positive attitude.  Birthing positions, pelvic floor exercises, chanting, relaxation, visualisation and learning to focus your mind all assist in achieving the best possible outcome.
